PARK PAVILION

The project consists of the renovation and transformation of a park pavilion into staff housing for the grounds keeper of the Etangs Noir Park, in the Municipality of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. The pavilion was converted into offices a few years back, but was partially abandoned and squatted several times.
The challenge was to unite the two stories, which had different outdoor access and create a comfortable residence inside the existing limited space. Simple materials were used for the interiors such as tiles, wood flooring and white furniture. The outside was completely preserved and cleaned.
