MISSION STATEMENT

ALEXANDRU PATRICHI ARCHITECTS is a fresh and dynamic studio offering architecture, design and consulting services based in the heart of Brussels, active in new constructions, as well as renovations and architectural competitions.

Inspired by quality spaces, clean lines and sustainable design, the studio offers a personalised approach to your building project, tailored to your needs and responsibly executed.

PROFILE AND VISION

The studio is characterized by particular attention to detail and constant research in design to arrive at architecturally and intellectually coherent solutions.

The belief that architecture has the ability to push the limits of innovation and to influence people’s lives creates both a motivation and presents unique challenges with each scenario. In every case a delicate balance must be found.

Architecture should be respectful of context and be integrated in its local culture. Each project is the result of a thorough research and attempts to create quality spaces, guided by the purity of forms and attention to detail.

Sustainability is paramount in the development of a project, creating a better setting for the users, minimizing the impact on the environment and reducing the cost of maintenance over time.

Born and raised in a small mountain town in Transylvania, Alexandru studied architecture at UAUIM Bucharest; parallel to his studies, he developed a small model workshop which led to fruitful collaborations with numerous architects.

Alexandru continues developing collaborations with Belgian practices, where he participates in various competitions and works on the development of several projects.

In July 2014 he takes part in the Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Master Class in Sydney, Australia.
